GET YOUR CHRISTMAS ON: PREPARE FOR ADVENT

I am really late getting this week's post up--mainly because I have been so busy with my Christmas projects. I guess that is a good excuse.

This week's goal is to make plans to celebrate Advent. Every year I have such good intentions, and it just seems to sneak up on me. My friend, Candace, wrote an Advent devotional last year, and it really helped me prepare my heart to focus on the birth of Jesus, my Savior. I am thrilled that it is available on Amazon this year, and I am giving you plenty of time to order one!

If you want a great Advent read-aloud that will keep adults and children on the edge of their seats, I can highly recommend any of the books by Arnold Ytreeide. These were out of print for a while, and it made me so sad.  All families need to have these in their home libraries!

I hope you are moving ahead with your Christmas shopping and planning. I wrapped presents last night and am happy to report that I only have a few more people to shop for. That is very exciting to me. Can you believe that we only have four more weeks to go! We can do this!
